Lewis & Clark College:
Lewis & Clark is a private nationally regarded liberal arts institution of higher education. It is known for its global outlook, close student-faculty relationship, and service to the community; it is proud of its distinguished teachers, performers, researchers and alumni. We are located in Portland, Oregon, on the west Coast of the US. Our Academic English Studies (AES) program offers full-time (18-20 hours per week) English instruction for low-intermediate through advanced English language students.

The Academic English Studies (AES) program takes place in Albany Quadrangle on our campus to the south of the city. Our institution is easily accessible by all major routes, Lewis & Clark can be reached via TriMet bus line 39. Portland International Airport is located near the Columbia River, and is only 12 miles away from downtown Portland. The airport is located on Interstate 205.
Portland International Airport has direct connections to several international destinations. These include destinations in Canada, Mexico, Singapore, Germany, Japan, and The Netherlands.
From Portland International Airport: Take I-205 south to I-84 west toward downtown Portland. Travel five miles on I-84 west and follow the signs to I-5 south toward Salem. Travel four miles on I-5 south and then follow the instructions below.
From I-5 southbound: Exit at Terwilliger Boulevard (#297). Stay in the right lane, which will circle back onto Terwilliger Boulevard. After passing over the freeway, stay on Terwilliger for 1.6 miles until you reach a roundabout. Take the third right off the roundabout; the main campus will be ahead on your left. Turn at the second entrance, marked Information, where you’ll find visitor parking.
From I-5 northbound: Exit at Terwilliger Boulevard (#297) and stay to the right. At the stoplight, take a right onto Terwilliger Boulevard. Stay on Terwilliger for 1.6 miles until you reach a roundabout. Take the third right off the roundabout; the main campus will be ahead on your left. Turn at the second entrance, marked Information, where you’ll find visitor parking.
To get to the law school, take the first right off the roundabout. You will enter the law school parking lot.
To get to the graduate school, take the third right off the roundabout. The main campus will be ahead on your left. Follow the road as it takes a 90-degree left turn. Turn right at the next entrance, marked South Campus, where you’ll find the graduate school parking lot.
