Casa Do Caminho Language Centre is situated at Ipanema the most popular beach in the south of the city of Rio de Janeiro. Rio de Janeiro is an exciting vibrant city bursting in attractions. Famous sights include the Corcovado (Christ the Redeemer), Pão de Açucar (Sugarloaf Mountain) and Arcos de Lapa.

Rio de Janeiro International Airport is located on Ilha do Governador, approximately 20 to 30 minutes from the city center. There are daily flights from many international cities.

Arriving by public transit:
The best way to get to Ipanema from the city centre, or any place near a subway station, is to take the Metrobus (integração para Ipanema) offer. This is a combined ticket where you first take the subway to the station “Siqueira Campos”. Once outside the subway station, wait for the Metrobus that goes towards Gavea. Get off at the third stop “Nossa Senhora da Paz” and continue walking on Rua Prudente de Morais. Turn right onto Rua Farme de Amoedo.

Arriving by taxi:
Showing the address to the taxi driver should be enough. However, if the driver is unclear, mention that is near “Praça Nossa Senhora da Paz”.

The brand new facilities offer comfortably furnished and well-equipped classrooms with DVD players & TVs. Students also have access to phone and fax services, as well as e-mail & free Internet. The central location allows students to leave for a walk after class to the historical center of the city. Our location is also great for "Live Portuguese" classes. In these classes, students carry out everyday tasks in Portuguese.
