INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL OF BARCELONA (ISB) is located in a residential area overlooking the town of Sitges, around 39km south of Barcelona. Our program reflects the diversity of our community, combining the International British and Spanish curriculums, offering wider knowledge and linguistic abilities.

All courses from Early Childhood (2 years old) through to Year 11 (16 years old) are based on the English National Curriculum. All subjects except foreign languages are taught in English.

All the educational programs provided at our school are recognized by the Local, National, European and Worldwide authorities.
At ISB we prepare students to access the following exams:

Our Boarding School mission is to develop an optimum environment for students’ development, and provide them with a sense of community and a place where they can learn respect for others.The ISB Boarding facilities are an extension of the school and instill the same values and ethos, which are prevalent in the school.

ISB Boarding House offers students the pleasure of living and socializing in a friendly atmosphere. They stay at a beautiful “Art Nouveau” country mansion built in 1913 in the Natural Park of Garraf, overlooking beautiful landscapes, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. The house offers a safe and quiet environment in which to live and socialize.

Boarders are offered and comfortable accommodation, healthy and tasty food and extracurricular activities.

The Summer courses, for children aged 2-16 include a wide programme of activities which vary depending on the course chosen, giving special attention to learning and practicing English. The sessions are held in July and include excursions to the museums, natural environments, leisure centres for children and various sports activities.
