Spiritual Life:

Image of Private Christian School in St Louis, MOFostering a healthy relationship with God is a very important part of daily life at CA. Our classes/courses are taught from a Godly world view. God is welcome in every aspect of our academic learning. We believe you should not separate your life into compartments separate and apart from God's plan.

Every day we have chapel on all grade levels, and every student is required to take a Bible class every semester. The elementary students have a VBS Day each spring where they have an entire day dedicated to Bible lessons and activities. In grades 6-12, each semester, the students take a day off from classes and focus entirely on God - we call these Spiritual Emphasis Days. Even other special events, such as our Senior Retreat, are focused on how we can better live like Christ every day. Our students also participate in several mission and service projects each year.

Preschool:

The Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis Preschool Program has been set up to care for the small children of working parents. The center is more than just a baby-sitting service; it is a child development program. The environment and curriculum have been set up to foster growth and development in all areas of the child's potential.

The Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis Preschool objectives are to care for the needs of each child, and at the same time, foster the development of each child. We will give interactive instruction and encouragement to strengthen each child mentally, physically, spiritually, and socially at an age and development level suited to each child.

Fine Arts:

Chorus:

The Christian Academy Chorus has been in existence for over 33 years. The group consists of students in grades 9-12 singing soprano, alto, tenor or bass. The chorus sings a varied repertoire of music, encompassing renaissance pieces, modern choral works, African-American spirituals, and contemporary Christian songs. The sacred repertoire is performed entirely A cappella (without instrumental accompaniment). The chorus hosts two Trivia Night activities each school year to help fund its annual spring tour. In addition, as a special treat, the chorus enjoys singing our National Anthem each spring at a Cardinals' baseball game.

Theatre:
Our theatre program continues to grow and flourish. We have a JH section for grades 6-8 and a HS section for grades 9-12. Each spring, both groups put on a production. The HS theatre club puts on a dinner theatre in the fall. The theatre students also get to show their many talents by putting on skits for the elementary students.

Visual Arts:
Our art classes use a variety of teaching methods and media to teach our students about art history, as well as many projects to get the kids involved in making their own artistic statement!

Athletics:

Christian Academy Crusader Athletic Boosters

More than 50% of the young men and women in secondary (6th – 12th grade) participate in Christian Academy's Athletic Program. Others participate as spectators, socializing at games, and cheering on their classmates. A strong sports program keeps kids involved and builds school pride.

The CAC Athletic Boosters are a group of parents, teachers, students, alumni, coaches, and business owners – who help support our teams by donating, raising funds, selling Crusader spirit merchandise, and helping with setup at sporting events. The money we earn goes toward projects and supplies for all Crusader teams as we promote school spirit through sports.
