Altiplano Training offers two excellent locations in the south east of France, in world-famous Chamonix (all year round) and rural Mens (June-October).

Locations: Chamonix is a lively, cosmopolitan town situated at the foot of Mont-Blanc in the French Alps, on the borders of Switzerland and Italy in south-east France, just 1hr from Geneva International airport. World-famous for its spectacular skiing and summer hiking and climbing, Chamonix also hosts an excellent golf course as well as numerous bistros and restaurants. Activities available in Chamonix include: Golf, Skiing, Mountain-biking, Hiking, River-rafting, Wine-tasting, Cultural-visits, Paragliding, Climbing, Abseiling.

Location and Facilities:

Mens is the market town for the Trieves; a wonderful plateau of rolling farmland and forests surrounded by the mountains of the Vercors and the Ecrins in south-east France, 40min south of Grenoble and 2 hrs south of Lyon. Craft courses and sports available to complement your French course. Courses in pottery, felt-making, watercolour painting, painting furniture, organic cookery, medicinal plants and “green” construction techniques are all possible: all in French! Popular sports and activities include walking, mountain biking, windsurfing & kite surfing, horse riding and paragliding. Courses in these sports are also available.

We offer a wide range of modern facilities for our students. This includes supplying all course materials, organizing afternoon activities and matching you with a suitable host family if you choose the homestay option. Some of our packages also include transport to and from the airport / station.
