The Key Worldwide:
The Key Worldwide is based in Sacramento in Northern Central Valley, CA, and it is the nation's largest private life coaching and college counseling company. The Key Worldwide is offering five rigorous summer programs for high school students to earn college level mastery of their personal career passions. Classes will be hosted on the Marina Del Rey campus of Loyola Marymount University (LMU) in Los Angeles, and consist of three days of total immersion.

3-Day Total Immersion Summer Programs:
All programs will be presented by the leaders in each respective field, the three-day total immersion programs will offer students access to relevant real-world expertise and hands on practical application unavailable elsewhere. The programs challenge each student’s rigor with unique performance-based real-world projects that are specifically designed to demonstrate mastery levels of cognitive thinking that will be required to participate in the global marketplace.

- LA Film Academy:  
The real drama is behind the scenes If you are looking for an introduction to a career in the film-making industry, students of the LA Film Academy will gain an understanding of the requirements and rigors of cinema production. This unique experience will motivate and exhilarate students as they participate in and complete a real film, produced by themselves! This intensive one-week course provides students the opportunity to play the role of screenwriter, actor, director, cameraman, editor, and producer in their own digitally-recorded films. Students will rub shoulders with some of Hollywood's most gifted technicians and study under instructors from several of the nation's elite film schools. The final day of camp culminates with an exciting 24-hour Film Extravaganza where teams are selected to create, film, edit, and premiere a 3-5 minute movie.

- Sports Business:
Sports is all business High school and college students interested in the business of sports will receive a 360-degree practical and theoretical experience of what this modern career is all about. Students will have the chance to learn from some of the sports industry's top executives in Sports Representation, Ownership, Finance (Contracts & the Cap), Marketing, Sponsorships, TV & Radio, Journalism, Sports, Event Management, Licensing, Social Media, and Social Responsibility. The program is honored to present keynote speaker Bill Duffy, the world's top NBA sports agent from BDA Sports. Featured speaker-guests will provide instruction and evaluation while students participate in projects designed to help reinforce a practical application of the principles taught during the lectures. Students will also shadow an industry expert in the NBA, NHL, or NFL franchise, sitting in on production meetings and live on-air productions.

- Game Design:
Computer Games are big business Today's video games contain highly complex pieces of software that require an deep understanding of computer science, advanced mathematics, and physics. The Game Design Experience is a set of intensive preparatory programs designed for high school and pre-college students who are interested in a career in the fields of game programming, game art production, and/or game design. Taught by DigiPen's faculty, the program will expose students to college-level content. Students will attend three hours of classroom instruction related to their specific track. Students then have an additional five hours of lab time where they apply the theory they are learning to developing game projects. Given the intensive nature of the program, students should expect to spend additional time on homework and projects.

- Environmental Action:
Save the planet Students will increase their environmental awareness and global responsibility by actively engaging in this hands-on educational program. Through nature-based activities and studies in aquatic and mountain environmental conditions, this program will help to foster a student's intimate relationship with his/her natural surroundings. High school and college-aged students are invited to participate in this program. The intensive six-day program features surfing and sea kayaking and a study session with discussion of the Pacific Ocean's environmental risks featuring Jaime Nack -- Threesquares Inc. These study sessions will take place on site and in the classroom and will be facilitated by the world's top environmental science experts.

- Sports Evaluation:
How good am I? The Key Worldwide's Sports Evaluation Camp can give you the answers you need to prepare for a student-athlete's college career. Available for every NCAA-sponsored sport for boys and girls, this single-day camp will provide an in-depth evaluation of your on field in classroom skills. The one day program begins with a scored skills evaluation and game-time competition against other student-athletes and guest ex-college athletes. Former collegiate coaches from all three divisions will then appraise your athletic skills, while representatives from The Key Worldwide will conduct an academic evaluation based on classes, grades and available test scores. These leaders will collaborate to create a customized list of schools that are a good fit for your athletic and scholastic goals. This is an opportunity to have a candid look at your skills and abilities and a discussion with some of the most experienced coaches available on how to get to the next level. - Entrepreneurial Communication:
Communication is critical no matter who you are! Whether on the field or off, being able to communicate clearly and confidently is critical. This program is offered in conjunction with Game On, a leader in social interaction, self-awareness, and overall communication training for junior/elite athletes, teams, and corporations. This innovative program focuses on building self-confidence and effective communication while developing invaluable skills for life. Game On teaches through improvisation and role-playing. The interactive program style keeps students on their feet with the same intensity with which they physically train. This innovative curriculum allows participants to feel prepared and confident for all communication scenarios without sounding rehearsed.

Program yoUr Future (PUF) is a non-profit outreach program that aims to raise greater awareness for women in technology by complimenting San Francsico Bay Area middle school girls’ education with programming basics using AppInventor and Scratch, networking skills, and fieldtrips to local museums or tech companies.

We provide Saturday workshops and summer camps to introduce girls in 7th or 8th grade to computing, information technology, and careers in IT. Programs are hosted in high-tech and top research sites, including the International Computer Science Institute and the University of California Berkeley.

PUF will also cover topics such as How to Write a Resume, STEM Year-long Opportunities, and High School Success & Leadership. In addition, participants will interact with and learn from IT and STEM mentors and key note speakers AND participate in mock interviews.

Through fun CS-related hands-on activities, they will not only have the opportunity to explore interdisciplinary applications and acquire presentation skills but will also be able to keep their creation as a souvenir! The participants are also challenged to identify a social issue or problem and design a solution integrating the use of information technology.

No programming experience or prior computer science knowledge is necessary to participate. The girls will form a strong community and enduring friendships. Students will also have the opportunity to receive prizes and scholarship money.

In our 20th year, TechKnowHow offers a variety of computer and Robotics courses throughout the San Francisco Bay Area (Burlingame, Concord, Cupertino, Foster City, Fremont, Livermore, Palo Alto, Pleasanton, San Francisco, San Jose, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, CA).

TechKnowHow started providing afterschool computer classes to students in 1994. We have been offering summer computer camps since 1996, as well offering classes for GATE students and enrichment programs.
