Ookayama International School, Tokyo:Established in 2003, Ookayama International School (OIS) provides a fully accredited American high school education via distance education to students in Tokyo, Japan. The school offers distance learning programs for grades 7-12 (ages 12 - 18) and students must attend our school to participate in them. Education is personalized to suit individual student needs. Graduation from OIS is not based on age or grade, but rather on credits earned.

Distance learning programs for grades 7-12:
Students are enrolled on distance learning programs at North Dakota Center for Distance Education or at The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Independent Study High School. These programs are fully accredited through the North Central Association Commission and School Improvement (NCACASI) and the Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation (CITA). There are well over 200 different courses available for study.
Students may enroll at any time during the year, and if need be, set an individual pace for their work. Courses are also available for part-time students and those who have taken a break from education. Older students can take classes outside normal school hours.

Hello Kids Myogadani - International English Preschool, Bunkyo-ku

Conveniently situated in the Bunkyo ward in central Tokyo, Hello Kids Myogadani is an English-immersion school providing a fun and comprehensive international preschool and kindergarten program for children between the ages of 1.5 to 6 years old. In addition, we offer afternoon & weekend classes for children between the ages of 3 to 10 years old. Our students range in age from 1.5 to 10 years old. Established in 2009, Hello Kids Myogadani focuses on teaching the English language, as well as developing fine and gross motor skills, problem solving skills, living skills, social skills and leadership qualities.
We challenge, and more importantly inspire students within an internationally-recognized curriculum, which ensures that our students gain a solid knowledge of not only English, but also science, mathematics, geography, Japanese, and other international cultures, and so much more. Our English immersion school (which comprises two beautiful schools - our Main school and our Annex school) is easily accessible by public transport, only a 10 minute train ride from Tokyo station on the Marunouchi subway line, and roughly 25 minutes from Shibuya. Both schools are located directly in front of Hisakata Park (a spacious park which we utilize daily).
