Mother Care Nursery:
Mother Care Nursery in Al Jumeireh, Dubai, is a self-financing day Nursery with a current enrollment of 120 children. We use a combination of American, British and Traditional curricula and offer programs to infants from 30 days up to 4 years of age. A number of sports are played in the Nursery and give the Children an opportunity to express their individual talent. Drama, Performing Arts, Arts and Design, Debating, Health, Sports & Islamic form a significant part of the curriculum.

Curriculum:
Mother Care Nursery uses a combination of American, British and Traditional curricula.

American Curriculum:
Using the learning pathways we all share of seeing, hearing, feeling and awareness of motion, brought together by the thinking brain, the approach is multi-sensory. The learner moves sequentially from simple, well-learned material to that which is more and more complex, as he masters the necessary body of language skills. This cognitive approach helps the student to understand the reasons for what he is learning. Then, when necessary, he will have the confidence that he can think his way through language problems instead of counting only on memory.

British Curriculum:
We also used the British based curriculum with a main focus on the children learning through play. The children have differently designed, age appropriate activity sheets. This helps to keep the activities in the correct range for children with differing ages, abilities and needs.

Traditional Curriculum:
The early childhood curriculum builds on the child's own experiences, knowledge, skills, attitudes, strengths and interests, by allowing children choices and by encouraging them to take responsibility for their learning, and is flexible enough to take into account the varying needs and characteristics of individual children. Children will have the opportunity to create and act on their own ideas, to develop knowledge and skills in areas that interest them, and to make an increasing number of their own decisions and judgments.

Nursery Philosophy:
Whilst academic achievement is a priority, the Nursery aims to create a community of well rounded individuals, where a spirit of cooperation and mutual respect exists among the Children and teachers. The Nursery organizes many activities throughout the year where qualities such as leadership and self-discipline are inculcated and there is an emphasis on the individual’s intellectual and emotional growth. The senior Children participate in awareness programs i.e. visits to hospitals, paper recycling, education of the under-privileged, hygiene in villages, and so on.

We are located in a central and quiet residential neighborhood in Jumeirah, Dubai. The Nursery campus spreads over 20.000 sq ft, and is fully equipped for Science, Funny toys & craft laboratories.
