The Association of MBAs (AMBA):
Only a limited number of schools worldwide have received AMBA accreditation for their MBA programmes. In June 2008 the Business School's AMBA accreditation was renewed for a full five years, the maximum reaccreditation term under AMBA regulations.

EPAS:
EPAS is an accreditation system for international degree programmes in business and management, operated by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD). In 2009, our MBA programmes were awarded a maximum five-year EPAS accreditation, joining our BA (Hons) Business and Management programme and our Hospitality and Tourism MSc programmes which had previously been awarded full accreditation. Oxford Brookes University was among the first European schools to receive EPAS accreditation and the first in the world to achieve five-year accreditation.

Undergraduate Work Placements:
A key feature of all our undergraduate courses, which has laid the foundations for many successful careers, is the work placement scheme. You spend the third year of a four-year, or second year of a four-year course on the hospitality and tourism courses, in full-time paid work with an employer, who can be chosen from the many prestigious international organisations who come to us regularly with opportunities. You gain invaluable, real-world business experience and have the chance to demonstrate your competences and develop new skills. You are supported by the School throughout, and assessed on both your own self-development and the value you add to the organisation.

Oxford Brookes University Business School is located in Oxford (55 miles north west of London), South East England. Our Wheatley Campus is four miles east of Oxford. The Department of Hospitality, Leisure and Tourism Management is based at our Headington Campus close to Oxford city centre.
