The programme will provide you with the tools to analyse IT strategies and new business opportunities. You will learn about the global political economy and how it affects all business, from large multi-nationals to small family-run firms. The pathway will promote your development as an individual who can help a family business to survive and thrive for future generations. You will be equipped to respond to the changing dynamics of competition as well as organisation of a family business, brought about by liberalisation, privatisation and globalisation.
Finance & Business Development Pathway
The Finance & Business Development Pathway offers a global perspective on the latest finance and risk developments in the world of business and emerging markets.The pathway offers an understanding of the underlying concepts of accounting and finance and a critical overview of the regulatory framework. The pathway will also help you to develop the ability to assess the increased risks and rewards of operating internationally, taking into account exchange rates, interest rates and political risks.
Marketing & Communications PathwayToday's global marketing environment is complex and changing rapidly. The Global Marketing & Communications Pathway provides insights into key global marketing strategy and communication issues and identifies the underlying marketing principles and theory. It will equip you with the necessary techniques and tools for developing marketing strategy and communication programmes, including company analysis, competitor analysis and customer-focused solutions.
People Management and Leadership Pathway
The pathway will prepare you for a career in the changing global environment. You will explore the key contemporary issues in the global marketplace and examine the unique challenges faced by tday's managers. You will develop the competencies to become an effective manager and leader in a fluctuating global economy, as well as the multicultural teams and organisations in global context. The pathway is also available as a two-year double degree in partnership with Sapienza, University of Rome.
