La Petite Academy Early Learning Centers:

Our curricula is created by our own Education Department experts, who bring decades of experience in formal graduate work, teaching, and developing curriculum. In addition, we also consult outside experts in early childhood education and published material from nationally recognized sources.

Childcare Programs for Children ages 6 weeks to 12 years:

We challenge children at all ages - from infants to preschool and kindergarten - with developmentally appropriate programs based on skill level and the skills of typically developing children in each age group. Infant Program - Starting at 6 Weeks
Your baby's first year of life is an amazing time, filled with discovery and enormous growth. It's no secret that what she learns early in his life will be critical to success in school, relationships and life. It can be difficult to leave your infant in someone else's care and be confident that he'll get the same care and stimulation you would give him. La Petite Academy's Infant Program will put your mind at ease.

We'll take care of his daily needs, the same way you do. We'll also stimulate your baby's cognitive, emotional and physical development. Our specially trained infant teachers build a bond of trust with your baby and with you, and provide a warm, loving environment where he'll build confidence in himself and develop positive and trusting relationships. It's the kind of infant care environment where children learn best and flourish.

Our Toddler Program - Starting at 12 Months
Your baby's first year of life is an amazing time, filled with discovery and enormous growth. It's no secret that what she learns early in his life will be critical to success in school, relationships and life.

Your toddler is asserting her independence in new ways every day. It's exciting, rewarding and challenging to watch. We recognize that children at this age may be at very different stages of development. Some may have just started walking, while others are already exploring the many other facets of their emerging development.  The Toddler Program at La Petite Academy is specially designed to accommodate your child, no matter where she is in her development.

Our Two's Program: Active and Curious
La Petite Academy's unique Two's Curriculum is designed to support and reinforce the independence your two-year-old exhibits. Our program provides the structure and guidance she needs throughout his day as she learns to share, get along with others and perform tasks that require a longer attention span.

Listening to stories, singing songs, playing games and doing art projects help develop language and vocabulary skills, as well as movement and sensory motor skills. The Two's Program focuses on developing these skills and readying your child for his next step at La Petite Academy, our Early Preschool Program.

Early Preschool Program
Starting between two and three years of age, depending on the time of year (for children three years away from attending kindergarten). 

The long-term goal of our Early Preschool Program is to prepare your child as she begins the journey that will eventually lead her into kindergarten and beyond as a successful lifelong learner. In the short term, our early preschool teachers focus on preparing your child for the next level of curriculum at La Petite Academy, which is our Preschool Program. Throughout the three-year preschool curriculum, which encompasses Early Preschool, Preschool and then Pre-Kindergarten, your child will acquire a full breadth of developmental skills necessary to successfully enter kindergarten eager and ready to learn.

Preschool Program
Starting between three and four years of age, depending on the time of year (for children two years away from attending kindergarten).

La Petite Academy's Preschool Program's ultimate goal is to prepare your child to successfully enter kindergarten in two years, and to become a successful lifetime learner. In the short term, our Preschool teachers are focusing on preparing your child for the next level of curriculum at La Petite Academy, which is our Pre-Kindergarten Program. Throughout the three-year preschool curriculum, which encompasses Early Preschool, Preschool and then Pre-Kindergarten, your child will acquire a full breadth of developmental skills necessary to successfully enter kindergarten eager and ready to learn.

Our Pre-K Program: The Transition
Starting between four and five years of age,depending on the time of year (for children one year away from attending kindergarten). La Petite Academy's Pre-K Program's ultimate goal is to prepare your child to successfully enter kindergarten next year, and to become a successful lifetime learner.

In the short term, we will introduce much of the scheduling and activities that will make the transition to kindergarten an easy one. Throughout the three-year preschool curriculum, which encompasses Early Preschool, Preschool and then Pre-Kindergarten, your child will acquire a full breadth of developmental skills necessary to successfully enter kindergarten eager and ready to learn.

We also offer School Age Programs for children from 5-12 years.
