Philosophy:
Founded in 1909, Kingswood Oxford was one of the nation's first independent day schools. For Hartford community leaders, such a school was an important alternative. An independent day school provided talented students with special intellectual, athletic and cultural advantages, without attending boarding school and weakening ties to family, friends and home.
In a world that changes at lightning speed, 21st-century literacy is a strong liberal arts curriculum, deepened and extended by an intensified focus on mathematics, science and technology, globalization, adaptability and ethical world citizenry.

Christian Heritage School

Located in Trumbull, in the Greater Bridgeport Area in Fairfield County, Connecticut, Christian Heritage School is a K-12 independent, coeducational, interdenominational day school with an enrollment of over 500 students.
