Schreiner University is a co-educational private liberal arts university located in Kerrville, Kerr County, in Central Texas. The university is situated approximately one hour northwest of San Antonio and 90 minutes west of Austin. We are a Christian university affiliated with the Presbyterian Church. We offer four-year undergraduate degree programs in subjects including accounting, business, management, psychology, nursing, graphic design, music and many more. We also offer graduate programs in education including a Master of Education degree program.

-go West on Hwy 290 toward Johnson City and continue to Fredericksburg
-in Fredericksburg, take a left on Hwy 16 South to Kerrville (approx. 23 miles)

From Houston: (250 miles)
-take I-10 West toward San Antonio and continue through San Antonio on I-10 to Kerrville (approx. 60 miles)

From San Antonio: (60 miles)
-from I-10, exit 508 in Kerrville, and turn left (west) on Hwy 16 (Sidney Baker Street)

Directions to Schreiner from Hwy 16 and I-10
-from I-10 take exit 508 to Hwy 16 ( Sidney Baker Street ); turn left (west) on Hwy 16 and drive through Kerrville, passing several hotels, gas stations and traffic lights.

-turn left at Hwy 27 (at this intersection, the Courthouse is on the left); continue on Hwy 27; after passing a cemetery, turn left into the main entrance to Schreiner University.

-inside the campus, turn left at the stop sign; the street curves to the right.

-Elaine B. Griffin Welcome Center is on right-hand side of street (one-story red brick building with metal roof); parking is available in front of building.

The University of Texas School of Nursing in Houston is ranked in the top five percent of nursing schools in the USA.
