Accreditation:
John Cabot University is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. We are incorporated as a not-for-profit organization in the State of Delaware and is licensed to award its degrees by the Delaware Department of Education. The University is authorized by the Italian Ministry of Education to operate as a four-year American university in Italy.

JCU maintains a 24-hour Emergency Phone Line. The JCU staff member who answers will make every possible effort to assist the student and direct him/her to the proper agency or service.

Housing Placement Service:
John Cabot University offers a Housing Placement Service. For new students who complete the Housing Request Form in the application packet, the Housing Department will secure housing and move the student in upon arrival.

Because public transportation in Rome is so efficient, no apartment is more than a short metro or bus ride away from JCU and most are within walking distance. A housing deposit is required to secure the facilities and will be credited to the first month’s rental expense.

Scholarships / Financial Aid:
John Cabot University offers scholarships to degree-seeking students from all over the world.

We also participate in the U.S. Title IV Program for Stafford Loans and PLUS. Whenever possible, we hire degree-seeking students as work study employees in JCU offices.

Study abroad students can often apply their existing financial aid packages to their studies at JCU. We also offer some work-study jobs to study abroad students.
