French Courses for Adults in Chicago:
Basic beginner to advanced levels. Study at our Chicago school or in your home / chosen location in the Chicago area
Group Intensive French Programs (2-5 students)
Classes every day from Monday to Friday - 3 hours per lesson. Study options include:
- 2 weeks (30 hours of instruction)
- 3 weeks (45 hours of instruction)
- 4 weeks (60 hours of instruction)
Busy Loop Group French Classes (2-5 students)
Once a week classes with two hours per lesson for 8 weeks. Alternatively, enroll in twice a week classes for 4 weeks to complete 16 hours of instruction.
Private French Instruction:
Students enjoy flexible schedules with each class meeting for a minimum of two hours. Enroll in a customized program or take advantage of one of our specially-designed packages.
Semi-Private French Lessons:
This course comprises of 2-3 students who wish to learn together, and who share the same proficiency level. This course features a flexible schedule.
Dive & Survive in French Immersion Program:
This is an ideal program for frequent travelers. Students learn intensively for 7 hours per day, for 5 consecutive days.
Corporate / Business French Private & Group Programs:
Available on-site at your business or in our language center, this program offers a flexible schedule. Lessons are completely customized.

Chinese Language Service, Chicago
Courses / Programs
Professor Jie Wang teaches in the Department of Managerial Studies and the MBA Program at the University of Illinois at Chicago. A native of Beijing, Dr. Wang has also taught Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced Chinese as well as independent study courses in Chinese language and culture at the University of North Dakota and the University of Illinois at Chicago. In addition to teaching, he manages Chinese Language Service, whose Chinese-learning and translation clients range from multinational corporations to individuals. Professor Hong Chen, also from Beijing, teaches Chinese language, film, and literature at Loyola University Chicago and previously taught Chinese at the University of North Dakota. Besides teaching regular university courses, Dr. Wang and Prof. Chen offer corporate training as well as group and private lessons in Mandarin. Situated in Normal IL, part of the Normal-Bloomington community in central Illinois, Illinois State University's English Language Institute provides a comprehensive English language training to students from around the world. Our Intensive English Program (IEP) focuses on practical learning and the special needs of adult language learners.All classes are taught in small groups of two to fifteen students.
