Toronto Chinese Academy:
Toronto Chinese Academy is a Mandarin Chinese language school located in the heart of downtown Toronto, Ontario. We offer a wide range of Mandarin Chinese courses for complete beginner, intermediate, and advanced students. Our courses include General Mandarin, Business Chinese, Chinese Character courses, and HSK exam preparation classes among others. New classes start every other Monday, giving students great flexibility in planning their programs.

Beginner to Advanced Level Mandarin Chinese Classes for Adults: 

- General Mandarin Course:
General Mandarin Course is for all students from the absolute beginner level (for students who have no Chinese language skills) to an advanced level. We offer 5 levels (15 modules, with 3 modules in each level) in the General Mandarin course.

- Mandarin for Cantonese Speakers:
Mandarin for the Cantonese speaker course aims to develop participants’ competence in understanding and speaking Mandarin (pǔ tōng huà). This course is devised specifically for students who are Cantonese Speakers, and concentrates on pronunciation and basic sentence structure using Hànyǔ Pīnyīn to enable students to learn standard Mandarin.

- Chinese Character Course:
This course is designed for students in revolutionary New Way to Learn and memorize 1000 the Most Basic Chinese Characters by means of visualization, imagination, association, and comparison. We offer 3 Sessions (15hours each session) in the Chinese Character Course.

- A Taste of Mandarin (Introductory Chinese Course):
A Taste of Mandarin course is a great introduction to Chinese language learning and ideal if you are unsure about committing to a full Mandarin course. There are twelve lessons in this course, comprising six hours of coversation and four hours of Chinese culture. The Taste of Mandarin class will introduce you to the world of speaking Mandarin. And students can then choose to enter the General Mandarin Course if they wish to study further.

- Early-Bird Mandarin Course:
This course is designed for students who prefer to take classes during the day. Class content is similar to that of General Mandarin Course and in Level 2 students can then choose to enter the General Mandarin Course if they wish to study further.

- Online Mandarin Classes:
The Skype Chinese classes are focused on using an integrated learning approach that is accessible to all levels and different learning styles. You will find that Speaking Chinese with a native speaker one on one on the internet is fun and easy, and it can be conducted anytime , anywhere! 

In this class we integrate music, videos, articles, stories, and art to help the student learn Chinese in natural conversation.

- Chinese Exam Preparation:
This course is designed to help students achieve higher scores on HSK, AP Chinese, and SAT2 through intensive practice and training in exam-taking strategies. It is aimed at helping exam students develop their language skills and techniques for specific examinations.

These courses are ideal for motivated students with clear, achievable objectives. Each course provides a balance of skills work with an emphasis on the student's weak areas and the specific requirements of the exam.

- Business Chinese Course:
This course is designed for business and professionals to improve both language skills, with an emphasis on Business Chinese. It will enable the trainee to communicate in the language and develop accuracy and confidence by putting them in a context where they immediately use the language.

- General + Business Combination:
20 General + 10 Business lessons. This course is designed for students who have no Chinese language skills but need to learn some speaking Chinese with an emphasis on business situations. 　

- On Site Corporate Mandarin Training:
We provide tailored courses for company groups , and can also arrange one-on-one sessions. When creating the course content we work closely with you to assess your specific needs, and conduct pre-course testing to ensure the course is at the appropriate level for participants.

We can provide a company language audit to assess the competence of all employees in Chinese, and provide an accurate report on the language skills of all employees.

- Cross Cultural Training:
