National Aviation Academy (NAA) has been training aviation professionals since 1932. It is one of the few aviation schools that offer both aviation maintenance and professional pilot training programs. The primary mission of NAA is preparing students for employment in the aviation industry.
Our Tampa Bay campus is in Clearwater, Florida. The Tampa Bay campus has a partnership with St. Petersburg College so students can explore educational advancement opportunities. The main 32,000 square foot campus houses aviation maintenance courses, avionics technology and administrative offices. Three additional facilities are located at the St. Petersburg/Clearwater International Airport. These buildings feature pilot training, maintenance hangars, special program classrooms as well as some administrative offices. The St. Petersburg/Clearwater Airport is home International Airport is also home to the largest and busiest Air Station for the United States Coast Guard.

Location and Facilities:
Professional Pilot student preparing for departure on a solo flight. Our students fly from St. Petersburg/Clearwater Airport around Tampa Bay along the beaches.
Aviation Maintenance students work in teams with an instructor on an engine rebuild. Students of the maintenance program work in labs and at a hangar located on St. Petersburg/Clearwater Airport.
The Tampa Bay campus is a short drive to the famous Clearwater Beach. This beach is a common Spring Break destination that enjoys tropical temperatures all year.
