HVAC Technician Training Program (8-weeks):
We teach our students to become HVAC technicians, for installation, repair and maintenance of central AC systems, gas and electric heat, refrigeration equipment and ice machines. Our specialized intensive training is provided 5 days a week, Monday through Friday, for two months straight.
Subjects covered include:
Refrigeration Cycle; Installation of HVAC systems; Repair of HVAC systems; Trouble shooting HVAc systems; Electrical Diagram reading; Copper Brazing; EPA Testing; Gas and Electric Heat repair; Ice machine repair; Refrigeration repair
Unlike home study or weekend crash course program approaches, our South Florida HVAC Academy offers a unique hands on/classroom study approach that gives you the practical knowledge to repair and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC equipment in the field. Classes will be held in a classroom/ lab atmosphere, where students will be instructed to repair and replace components on working models similar to what the student will find in the field, giving them direct experience with real life situations and equipment, not just book theory.
