CDC Management Institute:
CDC Management Institute, located 7 miles from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, offers the part time and distance learning University of Strathclyde Business School Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs in Malaysia. The University of Strathclyde Business School (USBS) is a triple accredited Business School in Glasgow, Scotland. USBS provides teaching materials and sends faculty staff to Malaysia to run intensive seminars. All assessment is the responsibility of the University of Strathclyde and successful participants will be awarded a University of Strathclyde Masters Degree in Business Administration.
University of Strathclyde Part Time MBA:
While many traditional Master of Business Administration (MBA) programmes consist of a set of unlinked single discipline classes, we recognise that the job of a senior manager involves making decisions across a range of functions. The Strathclyde MBA has therefore adopted a holistic integrated approach to management education which aims to develop executive potential by giving a broad understanding of business and management and a depth of visions essential to tomorrow’s top managers and corporate leaders.
Classes, though not compulsory, are conducted by local counsellors (qualified by the University) and UK academics. Classes are normally held on alternate Sundays and sometimes on Saturdays as well for the Compulsory Workshops and Intensive Seminars.
University of Strathclyde Flexible Learning MBA - Distance Learning:
The foundation of the flexible learning MBA is open learning. All participants are admitted on an open learning basis. You may then choose to supplement your studies through a series of optional face-to-face sessions (additional cost per credit applicable). This provides a valuable opportunity to undertake intensive and in-depth study of a chosen unit, to meet fellow course members and to benefit from shared experiences. Our suggested timetable will give you a firm idea of commitments well in advance, allowing you to plan your year ahead at work and at home.
It has been known for course members to complete the course in 24 months, although 36 to 48 months is more usual. It really depends on how quickly you want to work. We will provide you with timetables detailing suggested study plans for completing the course in 36, 30 and 24 months. These are only suggested study plans both in respect of time and order of study. However, any change from the suggested timetable may obviously impact on the time it takes you to complete the programme. If you are trying to complete the MBA in 24 or 30 months, we would recommend that certain units be supplemented by face-to-face sessions.
