Bachelor of Finance (Hons):
This programme aims to prepare students with specialist skills in finance and the ability to design financial management strategies, plus provide top-level financial advice to governments, companies and individuals. It allows for in-depth study of critical concepts in finance, economics and accounting, focusing on issues of business finance in both domestic and international settings. There is an emphasis on quantitative techniques and will require skills in key qualitative and quantitative research methods.

This programme emphasises the development of professional knowledge and skills, and the latest marketing techniques and tools for successful implementation in a wide range of business scenarios. In addition to the classroom-based delivery of knowledge, students will be exposed to seminars other co-curriculum activities.

Master of Business Administration (MBA):
The UTAR Master of Business Administration (MBA) is meant for candidates from all academic disciplines. The programme provides a strong platform on a wide range of management issues and techniques plus specialised knowledge in many areas of today's global business environment. In addition, it allows detailed expertise to be developed across a range of subjects, thereby creating a unique insight into management decision making.

The programme will enable candidates to develop a holistic view of business and enhance their awareness of social, cultural and ethical issues. It provides the candidates with a balance of theoretical and experiential learning, thus enabling them to develop business skills for the challenging globalised world. The UTAR MBA is a contemporary and challenging programme comprising 13 core subjects, two elective subjects and Research Project. Throughout the programme, candidates are encourages to participate in enhancement courses such as Project/Dissertation Writing Workshops, and to attend organised Lecture Series.
