Business Analytics and Management Science (BAMS) involves applying a wide variety of efficient and effective techniques, methods and approaches (from a diverse set of disciplines), for tackling real-life problems in businesses involving complex decision making. Applications of such techniques usually result in improved processes, productivity, and performance with significant implications in cost savings and increased revenues.

The dissertation is in the form of a three month project, where you will apply the skills that you have learned to a real-life business problem. A wide choice of projects is available. MSc in Corporate Risk and Security Management:
The Corporate Risk and Security Management MSc programme has similarities to our MSc in Risk Management, however it is structured to provide students with greater flexibility through fewer core units and an enhanced choice of options. The programme provides greater emphasis on the 'people' or 'human' issues, associated with corporate risk and security. Hence, the emphasis in this programme is placed on qualitative management of corporate risk and security, rather than a quantitative approach to risk.

MSc in Digital Marketing:
The MSc in Digital Marketing reflects the needs of students who are living in, and intend working in, the digital economy and will provide a breadth of knowledge and skills in key digital marketing disciplines that are in great demand from employers. It will introduce you to the latest developments in digital and data based marketing being well grounded in current research and professional advances in these areas. The MSc in Knowledge and Information Systems Management (KISM) introduces students to the effective development, use and management of knowledge management and information systems in businesses and other organisations, and the information and communication technologies (ICT) that support them. The KISM provides an excellent basis for those people who wish to have careers in knowledge and information systems management or carry out research in the discipline. It emphasises knowledge management and information systems practice as well as the theory underpinning it, and integrates technological, managerial and social aspects of the subject.

The Programme does not provide detailed coverage of technical skills such as programming and software engineering. Instead, participants will among other things learn to appreciate the strategic applications of information systems and e-business, and evaluate the implications of existing or emerging technologies such as social media, cloud computing, business intelligence, etc. for the nature of work and competitive advantage.
