Role of a Dental Assistant:
The duties of a Dental Assistant include a variety of patient care, office, and laboratory duties, which require both technical and interpersonal skills. As promoters of healthy dental hygiene, Dental Assistants provide preventative, educational, and clinical therapeutic services to the public.
There are a wide variety of employment opportunities for Dental Assistants, including in private and group dental practices, mobile dental units, dental school clinics, insurance companies, nursing homes, hospitals, and public and private health facilities.
Our programs aim to provide you with hands-on techniques and strategies to work in treatment or operation rooms directly with dentists. You will learn how to work chair-side as dentists examine and treat their patients. You will also learn about working in dental specialty practices.
