- Letter of Achievement:  Individual module on satisfactory completion of all assignments.
- Certificate:  1 module, 100 hours
- Proficiency Certificate:  2 modules - 200 hours
- Advanced Certificate:  4 modules – 400 hours
- Diploma:  6 modules- 600 hours
- Advanced Diploma:  8 modules - 800 hours
- Higher Advanced Diploma:  12 modules - 1200 hours
- Note:  All Modules are taught at the same quality and standard whether they are taken for a Letter of Achievement or a Higher Advanced Diploma.

Prior study or work experience recognition - If you have already learnt things which are taught in a course, either through previous study or work experience, you may be able to obtain credit towards your chosen course, eliminating the need to repeat material, and thereby reducing the time taken to complete your course

Design Your Own Course:
Not all educational institutions' certificates or diplomas meet everyone's needs. Sometimes, the course title sounds just right but the course content falls a little off the mark. Sometimes, it is the other way round. SCI offers you the opportunity to design your own qualification (subject to our approval, of course). Very few colleges will offer you this option. It is, in fact, a very popular option and is widely used by many students. You can choose any combination of subjects offered within the following guidelines:

* Enrol in a standard course, individual module, certificate or diploma. The structure of these courses and programs is fully laid down, and students may only need to elect a major area of study. Standard courses are listed throughout the website and handbook.

* Design your own Certificate or Diploma. If you have a very specific goal in mind, this gives you the flexibility to put together a program that meets your needs. See below for more information about how to design your own course.
