The school is registered as an Association Loi 1901(not-for-profit) organization in France. It is governed by a board of trustees, made up of members of the school community and the Head of School.
Programs:
Lower School Program (Pre-K-grade 5); Middle School Program (grades 6-8); and Upper (High) School Program (grades 9-12), Athlethics Program. The school year comprises 2 semesters extending from late August to late June for the Upper School and a trimester system for grades Kindergarten to 8. Classes taught in English and French.

Our high expectations for students’ academic success has led us to student-centered, integrated instructional strategies and a rich and diverse curriculum which includes core subjects, the arts, foreign languages, the International Baccalaureate and the Advanced Placement Program.
We take pride in the excellent test results achieved by our students and their fine record of admissions to selective institutions of higher learning. Ombrosa is a private, bilingual, international school in Lyon and Savoie, south east France. It operates within the French national system of education.
