Irish College Of English, Dublin:
Established in 1992, Irish College of English (ICE) is a high-quality English language school in Dublin, Ireland that is recognised by the Irish Department of Education and Science. We offer full-time and part-time English courses for adults in two locations in Dublin: Malahide is a beautiful and affluent coastal Dublin suburb and Swords is a large and lively suburb on the north side of the city. Both of our schools are within easy reach of Dublin City Centre and both are only 10 minutes from Dublin International Airport, making them ideal locations to study English. We run morning and evening English classes and are open all year round. Students wishing to enter Ireland on a Study Visa can register on our full-time Intensive English course for 1 year (25 weeks tuition).

Our teaching staff are experienced professionals, all with a minimum of a primary degree and a recognised TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) qualification. They are all native English speakers. Our teaching ethos is for lessons not only to be educational but also fun and entertaining, hence promoting learning in a relaxed atmosphere. The main focus of all our language school courses is on communication through spoken and written English. All students are tested on arrival and placed in a class which best suits their level of English. Our highly qualified teachers set students clear learning objectives and use the best techniques to provide practice in speaking, listening, writing, reading and grammar for the English language. On leaving all students receive individual feedback from their teacher and also a certificate of attainment.

International students wishing to enter Ireland on a Study Visa can register on our full-time Intensive English Course for 1 year (25 weeks tuition). ICE can help students with your study visa applications and we will issue a letter of acceptance upon registration. We will also issue you a College Letter needed to apply for the right to work in Ireland. Our 1 year courses are included on the Department of Education and Science's Internationalisation register of programmes for the purpose of access to employment by students from outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland.

As an alternative to homestay accommodation, international students learning English in Malahide or Swords can stay at various Malahide Hotels or B&B accommodation close to Malahide while attending our English language courses.

Dublin is well known for its wealth of culture and music. There is a lively pub or club on every corner where you can enjoy a pint of Guinness and listen to some traditional music.
