Courses:
The goal of the Spanish classes at Habla Hispana is to enable students to communicate effectively. Emphasis is placed on verbal interaction in the classroom, and class placement is based more on verbal fluency than on academic knowledge.
The daily schedule is designed to get students talking and practicing what they have learned throughout the day. Mornings are divided into three sessions with breaks to socialize. Afternoons are devoted to activities where the goal is to improve Spanish speaking, listening and pronunciation skills through practice.
Morning schedule runs from 9:00 to 1:00, Monday through Friday. Afternoon schedule offers activities such as walking tours on Mondays, Mexican songs class on Wednesdays and Mexican Cooking class on Fridays.
We offer homestay program if you would like to enjoy a total immersion in the Spanish language and Mexican culture. On alternative there are a wide variety of hotels in San Miguel de Allende, suitable to any budget, as well as apartments and houses for rent.

Our Medical Spanish courses run jointly with the local State University school of Nursing, CMes approval by the American Academy of Family Physicians for 33 hours of Prescribed Credit when registered through Migrant Clinician Network in Austin, Texas. Volunteer program without Spanish classes available - Help a wildlife rehabilitation association or become a environmental tour guide for English Speaking groups (15 hrs.)
