Cape Town School Of English:
Cape Town School of English was the 1st EFL School in South Africa, established 1991 in the safe and beautiful suburb of Claremont, close to the University. Our students register to do short (2 weeks) or long (six months to 1 year) courses. Our students come from all parts of the world but mainly from Europe, Africa and Asia. Assistance with tours and travel around Southern Africa.
Courses:
Our courses run continuously throughout the year. Students may enrol at any time and continue for as long as they need. Classes take place during the mornings, from 9:00am - 12:30pm each day, with a 30 minute break. Students may attend classes each day or 2 to 3 days per week.
Preparation for Cambridge and TOEFL exams.
Location and Facilities:
We are situated outside of the city centre where it is safe for our students and where accommodation is readily available. Our premises are situated in an office building with 5 classrooms, a main office/reception area, a kitchen and staff room. Our classrooms are of varying sizes. In the classrooms we have whiteboards, desks, CD/tape recorders, TV and video facilities.

Homestay
We have a selection of English-speaking homestay families that stay close to our school. In most cases students would need to use public transport. The homes are in safe areas and we try to place students close to one another.

Bay Language Institute is a family-run school in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. The school offers a variety of English courses, from General English to preparation for internationally-recognized exams such as IELTS, TOEFL or the Cambridge FCE and CAE.With our small classes (maximum eight students, average class size five students) we offer personal attention and plenty of participation in classroom activities. Special rates apply for long-term students, and a range of activities, including golf, diving and surfing, are available.

We are situated on the foreshore in Cape Town, near the CBD. With a maximum of only 7 students in each English course, the teacher can give each student sufficient attention and solve individual language problems. At Getting To Know English Centre in the heart of Pretoria, we specialise in ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) classes.We opened our doors to ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) learners in January 1997 and since then we have become one of the largest ESOL centres in South Africa.

We have recently moved into our new premises, a beautiful, large Victorian house, with a lovely outdoor area and a swimming pool. The classrooms have been beautifully appointed and modern audio visual teaching materials are used. The school is now situated in Green Point - a very popular part of Cape Town on the Atlantic Coast. Green Point hosts a great variety of restaurants and pubs. The school building is a few minutes walk from the beachfront and the ever bustling Waterfront can be reached within 5 minutes on foot. Our classes are dynamic, multicultural and fun with students from all over the world. Most of our students are between 18 - 35, and come from Germany, France, Switzerland, Italy, Poland and Japan - but we have many students from other countries such as Angola, Zaire and Brazil.
