“Come, learn Spanish…and live it!” With this as our motto, Costa de Valencia, School of Spanish, located in Valencia, Eastern Spain offers Spanish courses based on three fundamental factors: the highest quality of teaching, abundant extra-curricular activities and economic prices. Our school has over 10 years of teaching of Spanish as a foreign language and is certified as an Accredited Centre by the Instituto Cervantes, guaranteeing an excellent level of teaching. All of our teachers are native speakers, and possess degrees in Modern Languages as well as ample experience in the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language. Classes are given in reduced groups of no more than 8 students with a similar level of Spanish and with material specially developed by our teaching staff. The extra curricular activities are fundamental for practicing what you have learnt in class and to get to know the Spanish people and culture. For this reason, we organise carefully selected activities daily.

All year round:
Our courses of Spanish for foreigners take place all year round without interruption, from Monday to Friday, mornings and afternoons. It is possible to start any course on any given Monday.

Small and homogenous groups:
Our groups have a maximum of 8 students all of whom have a similar knowledge of Spanish. (Except for the Erasmus Course and the Teacher Training Course, which can have more than 8 students per class).

Teachers:
The courses are given by qualified teachers who all have experience in the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language.

Teaching Material:
All the teaching material is included in the price of the course. The teaching material used in the Intensive Courses and the majority of the other courses has been put together by our teaching staff.

Registration Fees:
Matriculation or registration fees DO NOT EXIST for courses at Costa de Valencia, School of Spanish. To enrol for the DELE exams at the Instituto Cervantes or the Official Chamber of Commerce examinations, you will be required to pay the appropriate fee.

Levels:
All levels are taught at Costa de Valencia, School of Spanish, from absolute beginner to very advanced.

Initial level test:
Before starting the course, it is necessary to take a level test in order to determine your level of Spanish.

The apartments are available from 17.00h on the Sunday before your course should begin until 11.00h on the Saturday after your course has finished. It is possible to enter or leave the accommodation before or after these times, but the student must inform the school with adequate notice if this is the case.

Students are required to pay a deposit of 100€ for the school’s flats which will be returned to the student on their final day if nothing has happened to the flat during their stay.

As a complement to our courses, and in order to practice the language whilst getting to know the Spanish way of life, we organise up to four socio-cultural or sporting activities daily.

Cultural immersion:
At Costa de Valencia, School of Spanish we do not believe that learning Spanish is solely confined to being able to speak and understand, but that it should also include learning about the culture and lifestyle of modern Spanish society.

For this reason, we give great importance to the socio-cultural and free time activities carefully organised daily for our students.

In agreement with our slogan “Come, learn Spanish…and live it!”, we hope that our students get to know and participate in the day to day life of the city and leave feeling more like a Valencian.

It is obvious that with the wide range of activities on offer, our students, whilst learning Spanish, enjoy themselves, after their classes, through our “little holidays” into our community..
