Student of the Word - Christian Homeschool Curriculum:
Student Of the Word (SOW) is a K-12 Christian homeschool curriculum written in Louisiana and designed for Christian parents nationwide and around the world. Our Bible-centered curriculum is for Christian parents who desire to disciple their children, not just educate them. The SOW Curriculum is a six year course of study; with all six years repeated again - making the SOW Curriculum a comprehensive educational program for children in Grades K-12.
Bible-Centred Christian Homeschool Curriculum for K-12th Grade Students:
The SOW Curriculum is multileveled or non-graded. We have divided the SOW Curriculum into two kinds of students:
- Instructional students with K-5th grade abilities, will use the 30 or more K-5th instructional reproducible work sheets to complete each lesson. These worksheets correlate with the lessons in the Student Edition. Explanations on how to use these worksheets and other options are included in the Teacher Edition.
- Independent students with 6th-12th grade abilities, capable of reading the Bible with comprehension, following written instructions, think critically, research for answers, and communicate effectively their conclusions. These students will use the SOW Student Edition (SE) to complete each lesson.
