The VHS Collaborative:
Based in Massachusetts, The VHS Collaborative is a non-profit global collaborative of schools that provides over 200 online semester and full year academic courses to middle school and high school students in the US and around the world. We offer courses in Mathematics, Science, English Language Arts, Foreign Language, Arts, Business, Life Skills, Social Studies, and Technology. Courses follow a set academic schedule, but students can complete their work online at anytime day or night, as long as you meet your specified due dates. Students interested in a future career can take one of our specialized courses in Entrepreneurship, Screenwriting, Forensic Science, or even Nuclear Physics.

We offer your students the opportunity to learn about the world, explore interests and career paths, and ultimately, discover more about themselves through challenging classes with stimulating subject matter.
Courses for Gifted and Talented Students:
We’ve identified high school level courses that provide the stimulation and motivation that gifted students need to stay challenged and enthusiastic about their learning. Our online classes are 15-week semester courses that offer full credit for completion, and are instructor-led with a high emphasis on peer-to-peer collaboration. Gifted and talented students will learn more about areas of interest, explore possible career paths and experience class in a collaborative online setting with peers from around the globe. Course offerings engage gifted and talented middle school students in interesting and thought-provoking subjects that enliven their education and enhance their transcripts.
Credit Recovery Courses:
The VHS Credit Recovery Program is ideal for students who struggle in a traditional classroom, have fallen behind in their work, or have missed school due to illness or personal issues. Our 15-week co-synchronous online courses give students the opportunity to review material and retake the class during their next semester. Credit recovery courses are available for subjects such as English, Algebra, Geometry or Biology.
