Facilities Maintenance Specialist
Under the direction of the Section Manager, Facilities Maintenance, or designee, the Facilities Maintenance Specialist ensures in-house garage personnel perform work in accordance with preventive maintenance books and supervises work done by outside contractors who performs contract maintenance and repairs. Essential functions include:
Qualifications
Education:
Qualified candidate must at minimum have a high school diploma.
Experience:
Must have a minimum of 6-9 years' work experience of mechanical, building automation systems, diesel tanks, building construction experience and vocational training in blueprint reading, system refrigerant recovery and electrical theory; having good work history is a must.
Proficiencies:
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel);
Proficiency with Oracle is a plus.
Must have good written and oral communication skills as well as strong interpersonal, organizational, and troubleshooting skills.
Certifications:
Must have a valid driver's license with a safe driving history.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time;
Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 100 lbs.
Working conditions:
Work is often performed in an outdoor environment where employees may be exposed to inclement weather, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles.
The performance of these duties may be required 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year for facility emergencies. This position is not eligible for telecommuting.
Salary:
Full Salary Range: $56,523 - $123,507
Salary Midpoint: $90,015
Anticipated Starting Salary Range: $73,269 - $90,015
