Job SummaryPerform advanced custodial services and facilitate and/or oversee routine and detailed housekeeping operations to ensure assigned unit/facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe and sanitary manner. The position will interact on a regular basis with staff, advise and counsel staff, and supervise none.
Responsibilities- Assign and inspect custodial/housekeeping work and related projects/activities to maintain unit/facility cleanliness levels and appearance.
- Perform specialized cleaning operations necessary to ensure unit/facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe and sanitary manner.
- Maintain supply inventory necessary to successfully perform routine and detailed custodial services.
- Respond to system-transmitted service requests.
- Transport custodial employees to and from work assignments as necessary.
- Operate and/or maintain assigned power equipment related to custodial services, as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma, GED certificate, or vocational school diploma.
- Three to five years job related experience.
- Ability to follow prescribed instructions, effectively communicate, operate basic computer applications, and work independently and as a member of a team.
- Position is supervisory.
- Does not have any financial responsibilities.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive.
- Position is a position of trust.
- No purchasing card required.
- Does not travel.
- No security clearance required.
Job Grade: C3B. Pay Range: $18.90.
