This position is responsible for assisting with performing housekeeping and custodial duties at Beck’s Hybrids. Timely responsiveness and competence in several housekeeping and custodial tasks is expected.

• Perform reactive and preventative housekeeping and custodial duties at assigned facilities.
• Perform sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and other tasks as regularly needed or requested.
• Clean restrooms, sinks, and other publicly used spaces.
• Assist in performing other custodial tasks necessary for upkeep of Beck’s buildings and grounds.
• Perform other related duties as required by the Facilities Department.

• Competency and experience in housekeeping, custodial, or related field.
• Ability to establish priorities, work independently, work with a team, and proceed with objectives with or without supervision.
• For Hire driver’s license or equivalent required (may be acquired at later date).
• Have excellent people skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

• Two (2) years’ experience in the housekeeping or custodial fields

• Ability to pass DOT physical examination and obtain Medical Examiner’s Certificate may be required.
• Be able to climb ladders and lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Capable of working off scissor lift, boom lift, or at comparable heights.

• Hours of work will generally be Monday – Friday and will include some Saturday and after hours as needed and events arise.
• Overnight travel may be required based on project needs at Beck’s Regional Locations and may vary in duration of time.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must possess and maintain valid driver’s license and insurable driving record as determined by Beck’s automobile insurance policy.
