FLEET Maintenance Manager - Forest Park, GA

Supervise and coordinate the activities of truck maintenance. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

• Coordinate fleet availability
• Schedule maintenance
• Produce mechanics' schedule
• Develop and upgrade fleet information system
• Obtain permits and licenses; maintain records of permits and licenses
• Maintain inventory of repair parts and equipment; requisition replacement stock
• Purchase parts for maintenance department
• Prepare fuel inventory and reports
• Prepare repair reports and vehicle requests
• Review life cycle costing reports
• Maintain and evaluate tires
• Recommend capital purchase of new equipment
• Select vendors
• Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports
• Maintain flexibility to work any shift, including weekends
• Travel to offsite locations to support business needs
• Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5+ years experience in diesel mechanics/technology, and two years management experience; or combination of relevant education and experience
• Ability to operate all tools and equipment associated with a diesel engine shop, trucks, tractors, trailers
• Valid commercial drivers license
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
• Maintain confidentiality
• Accuracy/attention to detail
• Ability to organize/prioritize variety of tasks/projects
• Familiarity with truck maintenance terms and processes
• Ability to continue education

• Bachelors Degree
• Non Degree Program
• Any experience directing/participating on project
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
