position summary: we are seeking a general maintenance repair technician to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be preventative and corrective maintenance on a variety of customer‑facing systems and fixtures that include, but are not limited to, automatic soap dispensers, faucets and flush valves, paper dispensers, door latches and locks, and other miscellaneous repairs across the public areas of the cptc.

scheduled hours will be centered around the 3rd shift, primarily with a need to adjust depending on requirements or needs.

• adhere to all safety policies and procedures without exception.
• repair and maintain a variety of customer‑facing systems and equipment.
• maintain work complete and service records for all equipment.
• coordinate and prioritize workload with your supervisor.
• operation of forklift machinery.
• perform a variety of building maintenance tasks, including cross‑training in floor care, escalator cleaning, high‑reach work, general maintenance, painting, and other duties assigned by your supervisor.

• high school diploma or ged preferred.
• must be able to read and write english proficiently.
• minimum of 3 years of experience in a general maintenance or repair environment; plumbing and electrical experience is a plus.
• experience in failure analysis and determining the best repair methods.
• safely and effectively use a variety of hand and power tools.

• must have a valid ga driver’s license and a driving record void of recent major moving violations.
• must successfully pass a background check for insurance and security processes.
• ability to lift up to 75 pounds and handle a variety of tools, equipment, and supplies.
• most of the workday will be spent standing.
• some outdoor work may be required in all weather conditions.
• hazardous materials handling.
• occasional shift variance to include weekend or holiday work as required.
• steel‑toed shoes must be worn on duty.
