Job Title:
Porter, Multifamily
- Clean the property business office, restrooms, laundry rooms, model apartments and property common areas on a defined schedule.
- Clean vacant apartment units in preparation for showing and occupancy.
- Maintain the overall upkeep of the property landscape and the exterior image, including cleaning of driveways, parking lots, curbs, dumpster areas, exterior hallways, and any other public areas.
- Provide world‑class customer service by addressing residents’ concerns and maintenance needs in a friendly and professional manner.
- Report any maintenance problems to the supervisor.
- Assist with inventory control.
- Perform job duties following safety guidelines and report obstacles to supervisors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of safe use of cleaning agents and equipment.
- Experience cleaning multifamily residential or commercial buildings (preferred).
- Ability to follow directions and handle projects.
- Ability to complete tasks on time.
- Adherence to Cushman & Wakefield safety policies and procedures.
- High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school.
- Some related experience.
This role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Regular travel between properties under varying weather conditions may be required.
Physical DemandsThe employee may stand and walk for extended or continuous periods, ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and/or step stools, and travel outdoors. The employee may need to remain in a stationary position (sit or stand) for 85% of the time and operate office machinery. The employee must be able to exert up to 25 pounds occasionally and/or frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.

CompensationBase pay: $18.70 - $22.00 per hour, commensurate with location, experience, and qualifications. Pay may vary based on collective bargaining agreements and other factors. A minimum wage of $15.00 is guaranteed.
