Cleanroom Technician

Position at Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS). Starting pay is $10.00 per hour, with flexible 4:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. shifts.

• Clean and maintain building floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, degumming and spot cleaning.
• Clean furniture, walls, glass, mirrors, fixtures, machines and other equipment (dust, wash, vacuum and polish).
• Gather and empty trash.
• Service, clean and supply restrooms.
• Move furniture, light fixtures or other items manually or with a hand truck.
• Extract carpet for small jobs.
• Execute proper use of all equipment.
• Clean and maintain cleaning equipment per instructions (rags, mops, machines, tools and buckets).
• Prepare cleaning solutions of water, detergents and other chemicals according to specifications.
• In healthcare settings, follow instructions to change out sharp containers and dispose of medical waste.
• Monitor and report facility issues requiring repairs (notify Lead, Site or Zone Manager).
• Monitor building security and safety (lock doors after operating hours and ensure electrical appliances are turned off).

• Ability to lift and move totes up to 49 pounds.
• Walk frequently throughout the entire shift.
• Stand and walk for up to 10–12 hours.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and safety data sheets (generally in English).
• General familiarity with cleaning best practices.
• Set work priorities to work independently and coordinate with team members.
• Use KBSPresence mobile time‑keeping software for accurate recording of work hours, attendance, training completion and employment information.
