Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll handle routine upkeep, emergency repairs, and unit turnovers to ensure our community meets top-tier safety and quality standards. You’ll be responsible for keeping all facilities operating efficiently, performing regular inspections for damage or hazards, and conducting ongoing maintenance on building systems and equipment to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventive upkeep across the property
  • Complete unit turnovers, including painting, minor repairs, and preparing apartments for new residents
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and on‑call needs
  • Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment regularly to identify hazards, damage, or needed repairs
  • Maintain and repair HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures, electrical components, and appliances (as applicable)
  • Ensure all maintenance work meets safety standards and complies with company policies
  • Keep maintenance areas, tools, and equipment organized and in good working condition
  • Collaborate with property management and maintenance team to resolve issues efficiently
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate professionally with residents
Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of maintenance experience
  • Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems
  • Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques
  • Available to be on call and respond to maintenance requests on nights and weekends
  • Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
