The Maintenance Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area, responsible for maintaining and repairing building systems, equipment, and property features. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine and preventive maintenance, diagnosing and resolving equipment issues, completing work orders, and responding to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner. The role involves inspecting units and common areas, coordinating with property management on repair priorities, and ensuring that safety, cleanliness, and compliance standards are met.
The Maintenance Technician may also assist with vendor coordination, materials inventory, and occasional support for property turns and renovations. This position requires reliable attendance, effective communication with residents and team members, and adherence to company policies and safety procedures.
- Strong equipment maintenance skills, including Maintenance & Repair and Industrial Maintenance.
- Ability to perform Preventive Maintenance, identify issues early, and implement corrective actions.
- Proficient in Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and building-system problems.
- Experience with residential or multi-family property maintenance is preferred.
- Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building repairs.
- Ability to use maintenance tools and equipment safely and follow OSHA and company safety guidelines.
- Strong time management, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple work orders.
- Effective communication and customer service skills when interacting with residents and team members.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance-related fields is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between properties within the Atlanta Metropolitan Area if required.
