Maintenance Utility Worker - MUE

• Must be able to read and write English and comprehend technical manuals.
• Requires high school diploma or G.E.D.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic disciplines related to aircraft systems.
• Must meet physical requirements to perform essential job functions.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Pass an extensive background check, drug test, and audiogram.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

The Maintenance Utility Worker (MUE1) assists in processing aircraft parts to support Engine Maintenance goals. Maintains the physical condition of equipment and facilities. Uses appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to perform shop and aircraft-related functions such as parts transportation, cleaning, and processing. Will learn all maintenance utility processes and functions within the shop and assist wherever necessary. Must learn and use Delta's computer MIRS/GEM systems relevant to assigned tasks.

Must be a team player, participate in process improvements, and promote safety practices in all operations.
