Porter​/Groundskeeper

We have a fantastic Porter opportunity available!

Weinstein Properties, headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, owns and manages over 60 apartment communities in Virginia, North Carolina, Texas, Tennessee, and Georgia. Still owned and operated by the Weinstein family after 70+ years, our continued success is attributed to our hands-on approach to daily operations and our focus on the customer experience.

Location: Bexley Summerhill
- Atlanta, GA (Summerhill area near Grant Park)

Pay: Hourly rates are competitive (starting at $17/hour) + Quarterly Bonuses + 30% Rent Discount

Bonus: Currently eligible for a $1000 stay-on bonus after 90 days and in good standing.

Schedule: Monday
- Friday, 8am - 5pm

• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of apartment communities, ensuring a welcoming environment for residents and guests.
• Assist maintenance as needed and support leasing teams as required.
• Perform light painting, housekeeping tasks, and other duties to support property upkeep.
• Operate basic tools and equipment as assigned, including power washers and backpack blowers, and assist with outdoor space maintenance.
• Assist with trash removal, pet waste stations, and general groundskeeping tasks.

• Independence & Initiative: Works well independently, self-starter, and takes initiative to go beyond assigned tasks.
• Attention to Detail: Proactively notices issues and maintains a clean, well-kept property appearance.

• Team Player: Communicates and collaborates with maintenance and leasing teams; helps out when needed.
• Positive Attitude & Pride in Work: Takes pride in maintaining the property and contributing to community appearance.
• Adaptable & Versatile: Willing to take on various responsibilities as needed.
• Growth Mindset: Open to learning new skills, with potential to grow into maintenance tech or other roles.

• You will get dirty: Tasks include trash handling, cleaning pet waste stations, and other potentially unpleasant duties.
• Repetition: Many tasks are daily and recurring.
• Opportunity for Growth: Attitude and willingness to learn can lead to more advanced roles in maintenance.
• Physical Demands: This role requires standing and walking for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds or more, using hand tools and equipment, operating vehicles, bending and stooping, and working outdoors in varying weather. Reasonable accommodations can be considered.
