Perform routine, standardized housekeeping services within assigned building or area. This position will interact on a consistent basis with other custodial staff to include Quality Control Inspectors & Supervisors and building/area occupants. It typically advises and counsel: NA and supervises: NA.

• Provide housekeeping services within assigned area, including emptying trash receptacles, dusting, spot cleaning, cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, medical and food service care, restocking supplies, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming.
• Operate and maintain power equipment such as carpet vacuums, canister and tank vacuums, wide‑area vacuums, backpack vacuums, spot cleaning machines and other powered equipment.
• Maintain housekeeping/storage closets, tools, and equipment in a clean, orderly condition.
• Utilize prescribed safety equipment as required.
• Utilize chemicals and supplies in a safe and prescribed manner.
• Respond to work request from building occupants and the department's service request system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Educational Requirements: Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Experience: One year of job‑related experience.

Preferred Educational

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED or Vocational School Diploma.

This job requires basic skills in delivery of housekeeping services including operation of cleaning equipment and use of cleaning supplies.

Successful candidate must be able to pass a background check.

• This position does not require a purchasing card (P‑Card).
• This position will not travel.
• This position does not require a security clearance.

Job Grade: C1

Pay Range: $17.40/hr
