     The Maintenance Manager will work in collaboration with property management to
     oversee building maintenance functions, budget, and vendor contracts for two
     apartment communities low-income seniors.
   
     We encourage candidates with lived experience to apply. This is an on-site
     position.
   
     Pay: $25-27/hour, dependent on experience

     Duties (Normal day activities)

* Patch and paint walls, trim, and ceilings.
      
* Clean, repair, and maintain appliances.
      
* Prepare units for new residents, including completing necessary turnover
        work.
      
* Perform routine plumbing and electrical repairs.
      
* Manage day-to-day maintenance functions.
      
* Assist with maintenance budget oversight.
      
* Coordinate and manage vendor contracts in collaboration with the property
        management team.

Minimum Qualifications

* High School Diploma or equivalent.
      
* Three (3) years of experience in skilled maintenance work.
      
* Technical expertise in one or more building trade.
      
* Legally operate a motor vehicle

Preferred Qualifications

* Technical certifications.
   
      Knowledge and Skills

* Work in a collaborative manner and in a team environment.
      
* Comprehend and communicate in the English language, both orally and in
        writing. Present information to groups of people.
      
* Perform basic math and understand measurement systems used in the trade.
      
* Read and interpret electrical, plumbing, and mechanical diagrams and
        blueprints. Draft working sketches.
      
* Use maintenance, trade, and testing equipment and tools.
      
* Effectively oversee work progress of vendors or outside contractors.
      
* Legally operate a motor vehicle
