Position: Custodian // Groundsman EVP - Grady Hospital (FULL-TIME HOURS) $15.50 an hr.
AAA Parking is seeking dedicated and dependable Custodian Maintenance Workers to join our Environmental Services team at Grady Hospital. The Maintenance Worker plays a vital role by maintaining the overall appearance of the facility, ensuring equipment is functioning properly, and assisting with special projects. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to safety.

Must be willing to submit to minor medical screening and annual flu shot for hospital badge requirements. (Employer Paid)
Responsibilities:

Check maintenance schedule for special projects for the dayWalk the facilities picking up trash, checking for burned out lights, empty full trash cans.

Record any repair or maintenance problems,Report illegal parkers and ticket if necessary

Sweep all entrances and exits and pick up any trash, sweep garages regularly

May require painting of poles, walls, machines, curbs, lanes and other requests

Clean all restrooms in facilities and all stairwells

Maintain any other equipment on facilities

Clean all oil/water spots as needed

Check all ticket spitters and gates to ensure that they are working properly and are properly stocked with tickets and the correct time is on equipment.

Ensure that all machines are kept clean and wiped down from dirt.

Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly

Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs on equipment

Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism at all times

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred

Previous maintenance or facilities experience (hospital/healthcare setting a plus)
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or mechanical systems

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Dependable, team-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

All candidates must successfully pass a background check and drug screening

Must be willing to submit to minor medical screening and annual flu shot for hospital badge requirements. (Employer Paid)
Must be able to work a full-time flexible schedule
