Contract Florist in Atlanta

We are a floral design company based in Atlanta, seeking a talented and experienced Contract Florist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating beautiful and unique floral arrangements for various events and occasions.

• Design and create floral arrangements for events including weddings, parties, and corporate functions
• Source and purchase flowers and supplies from local vendors
• Ensure timely delivery of arrangements to event locations
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide personalized recommendations
• Maintain inventory of floral supplies and equipment
• Adhere to company's quality standards and pricing guidelines
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to inquiries and concerns

• Proven experience as a florist or similar role
• Excellent creativity and design skills with an eye for detail
• Knowledge of different types of flowers, plants, and their care instructions
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and vendors
• Must have own transportation and valid driver's license

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in floral design is preferred but not required
• Proficient in basic computer skills such as email, internet research, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis

This is a contract position with flexible hours based on event schedules. Compensation will be based on experience but starts at $1300 per month. We are looking for someone who is passionate about floristry, has excellent customer service skills, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
