Job Description

Compensation: $32.68 to $40.63 per hour, paid weekly

Automation Technician – Shift Availability: Nights 2-2-3 schedule (7pm to 7am). The facility operates 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

• Performs basic troubleshooting and maintenance work on automation equipment.
• Performs maintenance, setup and preventive maintenance on automation equipment in Thermoforming and Extrusion.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment-related processing issues.
• On-call as needed by department; able to be flexible with schedule as required.
• Must possess the ability to work in tight spaces and on ladders/platforms.

• Analytical, problem solving, and strong electrical and PLC programming technical skills including mechanical.
• Strong skills in customer service, interpersonal, oral and written communications, teamwork, judgment, motivation, planning, organizing, professionalism, quality, safety, dependability, initiative, and innovation.
• HS Diploma or Equivalency; preferred associate’s degree.
• 5+ years automation technician experience within Thermoforming and Extrusion industries.
