Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Troubleshoot and repair defects of non-scheduled maintenance and complete all return to service paperwork.
- Maintain an at-ready status and be prepared for dispatch to a given assignment. Provide AOG recovery support when needed.
- Coordinate daily with the Regional Line Mx Manager to define workload and workload planning.
- Maintain Contact with Line Mx Managementregardingassignments.
- Forward copies of repair information to Maintenance control as work is completed. Send original paperwork toaircraftrecords.
- Provide Technical support to Line Mx as needed via teams, teleconference, research.
- Monitor current and historical data for chronic or repetitive discrepancies onaircraftsystems.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Line Mx Management.
- Minimum offive (5) years of experiencemaintainingaircraftofthe same category and classas thoseoperatedby Kalitta Air.
- Must be appropriately certificated under 14 CFR Part 65
- Valid
FAA Airframeand Power Plant(A&P)
Certificate. - Previous experience inheavy maintenanceoversightand/or vendor management strongly preferred.
- Mustdemonstratestrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other computer-based toolsrequired.
- High school diplomaor equivalent required.
- Some college coursework and/or technical school training in aviation maintenance or a related field preferred.
- Ability to read, write,and understand English language.
- Ability to prepare routine reports and correspondence clearly and accurately .
- Ability to provide verbal and written direction effectively to assigned staff and maintenance personnel .

- Workingon ladders, lifts, and at elevat ed heights as required .
- Workingin squattedor confinedpositions.
- Perform duties in variousweather conditions.
