We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all installation, repair, and upkeep operations of our company's facilities. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our production operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will use your in-depth knowledge of equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing, mechanical knowledge, and electrical systems to ensure our equipment and facilities are safe and functional.

Oversee the daily operations of the maintenance department, ensuring all equipment is in working order to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to extend the life of equipment and reduce costs. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including repair functions and replacing parts as necessary. Coordinate with other departments to understand their maintenance needs and schedule work accordingly.

Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Train, supervise, and evaluate maintenance team members, fostering a productive and collaborative environment. Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary. Develop budgets for approval, including those for labor, equipment, materials and supplies, and monitor expenditures. Keep a record of all the day-to-day maintenance and service activities undertaken in a facility.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar role, with at least 5 years in a manufacturing setting.

Experience with PLCs, Hydraulics, Pneumatics In-depth knowledge of equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing, mechanical knowledge, and electrical systems. Excellent understanding of the technical features of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, and complex heating and cooling systems. Strong organizational and leadership abilities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks. Knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations.

Understanding of budgeting and performance management. High school diploma or equivalent;
Degree from a vocational school or BSc/BA in business administration or facility management will be an advantage. Valid Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) will be a plus. Interested in hearing more?
