Facility Maintenance Tech

Entry-level position with required swing shifts. Under limited or no supervision, the candidate will be responsible for performing basic building maintenance duties including general repairs, preventive maintenance, and minor troubleshooting of systems and equipment. This position is designed for individuals with foundational knowledge in facility upkeep, eager to grow in the maintenance field.

• Time & Attendance is essential
• Learning and using building automation system
• Perform routine inspections of building systems (e.g., lighting, HVAC filters, plumbing fixtures)
• Conduct minor repairs such as painting, replacing light bulbs, unclog drains
• Assist with preventive maintenance tasks under supervision
• Maintain clean and safe work spaces and common areas
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
• Assist with furniture moves, setups for meetings and events, and minor equipment installations
• Follow all company safety protocols and report unsafe conditions

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1+ years of experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or building services (preferred but not always required)
• Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials used in maintenance work
• Ability to read and follow instructions, manuals, and safety rules
• Strong attention and problem‑solving skills
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work on feet for extended periods
• Valid driver license

• Indoor/Outdoor environment, may be exposed to noise, dust, and other elements

• This position offers potential advancement to Facility Maintenance Tech II or other specialized roles with additional experience and/or certifications
