Responsibilities
- Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt
- Unload packages from incoming trucks
- Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged
- Verify items according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc.)
- Speak with Executive Chef or MOD if there was an issue with an item or delivery
- Assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacements
- Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place
- Ensure invoices are signed and filed properly
- Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control
- Maintain all storage areas, daily cleaning, organizing, identify items needing addressing
- Project a positive and motivated attitude amongst all Team Members
- Dishwasher support as needed
- Proven experience as a receiving clerk or similar position preferred
- Understanding of health and safety regulations for food service
- Basic math and recording abilities
- Excellent organizational skills
- Great communication and interpersonal abilities
- Must be able to stand for up to 6 hours at a time and move equipment up to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent certification
- Lead by example in all aspects of the business (production/attitude/cleaning/punctuality)
- Lead by example in regards to safety and sanitation standards set by the local Health Department
- Ability to work efficiently in order to maximize team output and minimize overall labor hours
- Ability to maintain a calm and collected demeanor
- Ability to understand and communicate in written + spoken English
- Compensation: $21 per hour

Weekly day range: Monday - Friday // 6am-2pm
Eligibility: This position must maintain a State Food Handlers Card
Work environment: This position is based in a commercial kitchen
